Moment of truth...

This is moment of truth.... after debating and thinking hard about pro and cons putting the 4jb1T to series land rover. I finally decide to replace the old 2.25 ltr the original series land rover with more modern diesel engine. Here is the pict of the engine just before it got into the engine room, and after it got into the engine room



I decided to replace the old engine not because the old engine is bad, not at all, actually I like it, but it just old and not efficient for a good reason (reliability and easy to maintain). I have other land rover series anyway, so if I wanted to have nostalgic journey with series land rover, I can always use my other STW LWB land rover series. I wanted more efficient, more environmental friendly and slightly bigger power.

I am making video of this modification, hopefully it can be our reference for future swapper... :-)
