Please meet my Land Rover SIII which I just recently acquired, It is also the reason why I make this blog, this will be all things about land rover life in Indonesia, which is very few blog in Indonesia is dedicated to land rover.
Anyway, today I cleaned it as I have no chance to give a good bath to this beast since I bought it about four months ago, and today give it a name "Sotong" a cattle fish. it look like cattle fish with regard to the head and body proportion... :).
I bought Sotong from some one in Kediri, a small town in East Java, it have Government license plate, you can see the red license plate there. it can be good and bad... it is bad because when you need to renew the license is quite difficult, the good things is you only pay Rp. 73 thousand per year, I think it is the cheapest registration fee I can imagine.
Sotong is Station Wagon Land Rover series III, it is in a good condition in terms of chassis and bulk head, but the body seems to be abused when it is still serving the government. not a problem for this type of vehicle.. I can easily fixed it.
I bought it for about 14.650.000 rupiahs... or about US$ 1.500 in a working condition but need to be fixed here and there, which turn out need quite a heavy overhaul.
So if you see a Land rover series III Station Wagon with a red lisence plate from Kediri (AG) and on the body side you can read this:
it definitely me... do not hesitate to say hai...
Cheers
